Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
Payment Structure
All projects require 50% payment upfront before work begins and 50% upon project completion. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. Late payments may result in project delays or suspension.
Refund Policy
Full refunds are available if work has not yet started. Partial refunds may be issued before deployment, calculated proportionally to work completed. No refunds are issued for time and resources already used in the project. All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
Hosting Requirement
All deployed projects require hosting at a minimum of $50 per month per project. Hosting costs scale based on demand, traffic, and resource usage. Hosting fees are billed separately from project fees and are ongoing for the duration of deployment. Basic site and content updates are included in hosting, but major feature additions or redesigns require a new project agreement.
Scope Control
The project scope is defined in the initial proposal and agreement. Any changes to the scope, including additional features, pages, or functionality, will be estimated and billed separately. Scope changes may affect project timelines.
Deployment Ownership
Upon full payment, the client owns the deliverables as defined in the project scope. Echo Web, LLC retains the right to showcase the project in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed. Source code and deployment infrastructure ownership terms are defined in the project agreement.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project with written notice. Cancellation by the client forfeits the upfront payment if work has begun. Cancellation also cancels hosting and deployment services. Any work completed up to the point of cancellation remains the property of the client upon settlement.
Intellectual Property
All pre-existing intellectual property remains with its original owner. Custom code, designs, and content created for the project are transferred to the client upon full payment. Echo Web, LLC retains the right to use general techniques and non-proprietary code in future projects.
Limitation of Liability
Echo Web, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.
